Outdoor Garden Tables, Chairs and Benches
Most people piece together their garden furniture over time. Chairs from one place, a table from another and benches that never quite match. The wood tones feel off, the sizes do not sit right and the whole space looks assembled instead of planned.
At Cedar Creek Rustic Furniture, the full collection starts with the same Northern white cedar and the same Ingalls, Michigan workshop we have worked from since 1975. From wooden garden tables and chairs to standalone garden chairs and cedar benches, your whole setup feels consistent from the first order to anything you add later.
Solid wood. Sound construction. Free shipping to the lower 48 states and a 20-year guarantee.
Why We Build Every Piece From Northern White Cedar
Cedar's natural oils resist rot, moisture and insects without any treatment before or after you place it outside. It holds through freeze-thaw cycles and wet seasons without warping or joint failure, which means your furniture performs the same way in year ten as it did on the day it arrived.
Left outside untreated, cedar weathers from its original warm tone to a natural silver-gray over time. A light penetrating oil once a year holds the original tone if you prefer it. Most of our customers never bother.
Our Wooden Garden Tables
Allow at least 36 inches of clearance from every table edge to the nearest wall or fence so your chairs pull out fully and people can move around without difficulty. A 72-inch rectangular table suits most family gardens. If your space is square or movement around the furniture matters, our round outdoor garden table is the more practical choice.
Wooden Garden Table and Chairs Set
When you want a complete outdoor dining setup without sourcing pieces separately, this is where to start. The 72-inch cedar top uses board spacing engineered so rain drains freely rather than sitting on the surface. Chairs have contoured seats and a 15-degree back angle suited to extended outdoor dining, not just a single meal.
Set includes:
- 72" x 29" x 43" cedar dining table, seats 6 to 8
- Two full-length matching cedar benches
- Two dining chairs with contoured seats and angled backs
- Zinc-coated hardware throughout
Rustic Outdoor Picnic Table
If your group regularly outgrows a standard dining table, this is the right fit. The hand-finished top with integrated bench seating is held to the same construction standard as every other piece we make. Load capacity exceeds 500 pounds and it stays outside year-round without cover or off-season storage. Explore our full picnic tables collection if you are building out a larger outdoor dining setup.
Round Outdoor Garden Table With Curved Benches
Seats 8 on a 48-inch cedar top with four curved benches shaped specifically to the table circumference. Works better than a rectangular table in gardens and covered patios where space is limited or traffic needs to move freely around the furniture. A centre umbrella opening is available on select models.
Our Outdoor Garden Chairs
Every outdoor garden chair we build uses solid cedar log construction with hand-peeled or hand-sanded surfaces and zinc-coated hardware. Seat height is 17 inches with a 15-degree back angle across the range. Because every chair comes from the same workshop as our tables and benches, anything you add later will match in cedar tone, grain and build quality without any effort on your part.

Handmade Wooden Dining Chair: Our primary dining chair. Hand-peeled log frame with a 22-inch wide contoured seat, built for everyday use at a garden table. Pairs directly with our wooden garden table and chairs set or works as standalone seating on your porch or deck.
Log Wooden Deck Chair: Solid cedar proportioned for use alongside your garden table. At 35 pounds it moves easily when you need to rearrange for guests.
High Seat Adirondack Chair: The raised seat height sits comfortably alongside a dining table. The deeper seat is built for settling in longer than a meal. Solid cedar with zinc-coated hardware throughout.
Solid Cedar Folding Chair: Solid cedar construction in a chair that stores without taking up permanent space. A more substantial option than the lightweight folding chairs commonly available at this price.
Cedar Creek Wooden Benches for the Garden
A bench seats flexible numbers, works without a table beside it and fits naturally into parts of your outdoor space where individual chairs would feel out of place. At a dining table it handles a changing group without any reconfiguration. Along a path or garden edge it becomes part of the space rather than furniture placed in it.
Every wooden bench for the garden we make uses hand-selected cedar logs, mortise-and-tenon joinery and hand-finished surfaces throughout. Browse our rustic wooden benches collection to see every size and profile we offer.
Handmade Solid Wooden Dining Bench: Our primary dining-length bench. Sits at 17 inches, aligned with standard adult dining height. Pairs alongside any wooden garden table or stands alone on your patio or path.
Outdoor Garden Bench With Contoured Backrest: Seats three adults with a contoured seat and angled backrest. Works on one long side of your dining table or as a standalone bench on a covered porch or open patio.
Rustic Log Garden Bench: Hand-peeled cedar logs in a classic rustic profile. No two look identical because no two cedar logs share the same grain. Sits at 17 inches and 15 inches deep, suited to a garden path, patio edge or open space.
Entryway and Patio Wall Bench: 48" wide x 15" deep x 17" high. Sits flush against your wall or covered porch exterior without overpowering the space. Suits farmhouse homes, lake houses and cabins where the log material fits the aesthetic.
Clean Cedar Profile Bench: The same solid cedar construction in a cleaner, more minimal silhouette. The right choice where the rustic log profile does not suit your surrounding space.
Rustic Garden Bench With Full Backrest: A three-person bench with a full backrest and the 15-degree back angle used across our entire seating range. Suited to open garden placement or alongside your dining table for longer sittings.
Where Cedar Creek Garden Furniture Works Best
Every piece in this collection comes from one workshop and one cedar stock. Start with what your space needs now and add over time. Cedar tone, grain and build quality stay consistent throughout.
Outdoor Dining Areas: A wooden garden table and chairs set with a long bench on each side seats 6 to 8 with room to move. Add chairs at the short ends for a more structured arrangement.
Covered Patios and Smaller Gardens: A round outdoor garden table is the practical choice wherever a rectangular table would crowd your space or limit movement around it.
Garden Paths and Open Spaces: A wooden bench for the garden placed at a path turn or garden edge reads as part of your garden rather than furniture placed in it. Our wooden garden bridges are built from the same Northern white cedar and pair naturally along garden walkways.
Full Backyard Setups: Our outdoor swings for adults complement a dining or seating setup without looking out of place alongside it.
Our 20-Year Guarantee on Every Piece We Build
Your purchase is backed by our 20-year guarantee on manufactured defects in construction and joinery. Every piece is inspected by hand before it leaves our workshop. We do not operate an assembly line and do not outsource any part of our construction process.
One thing worth knowing before your order arrives: shallow surface marks called surface checks can appear in the first season as cedar releases moisture through its growth rings. They are surface only, have no effect on structural integrity and are a normal characteristic of this wood outdoors.
Free Shipping on All Garden Tables, Chairs and Benches
Every piece ships free from our Michigan workshop to any address in the lower 48 states. Most arrive partially assembled with pre-drilled holes, all hardware and clear instructions included. Assembly runs between 30 and 60 minutes on most pieces.
