Take a walk through our Cedar Creek Log Furniture manufacturing plant by reading our "How it's Made" steps (below). See how your Cedar Log Swing is manufactured.

As with anything there are a number of small steps involved (which is how we keep our product superior), we can't give away all our secrets!

All Log Swing components are carefully hand assembled and staged in the warehouse until it's time for them to be boxed up.

Here are some photos of the Cedar Log Swing components waiting to be packaged.

And of course a photo of the completed Cedar Log Swings packaged and stacked on pallets, ready to be to shipped to all of our satisfied customers.

From our house to yours!

After the logs are hand-peeled and smooth to the touch, the next step is cutting the cedar logs to length on the saw (see photo to the right).

The scraps go up the elevator to be chipped up for cedar chips.

Each Cedar Log Swing seat comes contoured for comfort and nailed to the log furniture with hot dipped galvanized nails, glued to adhere to the wood. You can see in the photo to the right how smooth they get sanded, each by hand.

we
sand each of Cedar Swing seat by hand.

Once all the Cedar Log Swing seats are hand-sanded and the holes are drilled into the cedar logs, it's time to put the components together.

In photo to the right, you can see a work station where one of our skilled craftsman or craftswoman would be assembling the Log Swing seats to the seat bottom.
