Outdoor cedar furniture will last up to 20yrs outdoors easily.
NO ONE handcrafts a log swing like this, don't be fooled by the others, claiming they handcraft there swings out of cedar. If its not white cedar its the wrong species of wood. Why, because white cedar is rot resistant, giving it the ability to last 25 plus years outdoors without having to bring it in for the winter months or even having put a stain on it. We have been building these swings for 35yrs and still see some of the originals in use today. Plus white cedar has a acid in the wood that the bees and other insects do not like. And best of all we can claim that this swing is AMERICAN MADE. |
